We’re all geared up for our summer schedule with just two program meetings during June, July and August. We will still be staging our iClub meeting on the second Monday and the Apple 101 meeting on the third Tuesday but we will take the summer off for the meeting on the fourth Wednesday. Our Help session, when you get to sit with a veteran member who will try to solve your current device problem, will still be held at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Monday each month.
With one less meeting during the summer months to learn all about Apple you will have to make it a point to show up every time and not waste the opportunity. The iClub meeting is at 6:30 p.m. and the 101 meeting is at 12:30 p.m. All meetings are at Saddlebrook Rec Center.
It all gets underway tomorrow evening, Monday, June 10, when board member Cyndi Feeney and program director Tom Bonanno team up for a session of tips on your iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.
Among their agenda items is to show you how to edit text, which can be a problem when you don’t have a mouse and cursor. They will also talk about reminders, which can be a major help with our senior memories. Another topic on their agenda for the Apple Watch is Taptic Engine and Prominent Haptic. Be sure to listen to their definition because those things really exist.
Remember, that’s 6:30 p.m. Monday at Saddlebrook Rec Center. Cyndi and Tom love to answer questions.
