Sad News for TVAUG

With heavy hearts, your TVAUG Executive Board is letting all of our members know that our esteemed President, Dexston Reed, passed away unexpectedly on March 12.

Dex was loved and respected by everyone.  His warm smile and fun sense of humor shone through when he entered a room or a Zoom meeting.  Dex has been our President since 2013, guiding the growth of TVAUG with his skills as an administrator.

Judy is working on final arrangements and we will keep you informed of the plans to celebrate, remember, and honor her beloved Dex.  Our hearts go out to Judy and her family.

TVAUG Scholarships Team

You may be aware that TVAUG takes in donations of old Apple equipment, refurbishes them, and then distributes the devices (iPads, iMacs, MacBooks) to various local organizations. But you may not have known that TVAUG has also been providing scholarships for graduating high school students from local schools who are pursuing a degree in technology-related fields since 2016.
