After stepping up to newer technology, many members have asked us what they can do with their older Apple devices. TVAUG previously had the resources to refurbish older iMacs and MacBooks but nowadays those devices can either not be updated or they are so old that they are not worth trying to re-use (e.g. they are no longer getting security updates).   However, we will gladly take in your iPads and set them back to factory original settings.

Stick it in a bowl of uncooked rice and wait is bogus.

Repurposing an old device can save money and postpone another purchase, but a second life isn’t always useful or responsible.
