March is always an exciting time for college basketball fans, and with the Men’s First Four tipping off on March 17. I hope your favorite team makes a great run.
We’re bringing a little “March Madness” energy to TVAUG with our own small‑group SIG night—4 simultaneous presentations at Rohan Rec Center on Tuesday, March 17 at 6:30 PM.
Here’s what’s on the schedule:
1. Apple Watch — with Tony Crawford (Zoom / Remotely)
- Follow along on the TV monitor in the room or on Zoom.
- Bring your iPhone and Apple Watch
- This is a hands‑on workshop
- Tony will share a PDF handout.
- If you can’t attend in person, you can still join Tony on Zoom
2. iPhone Features — with Carol Fortlage (In‑Person Only)
- A practical, hands‑on session
- Bring your iPhone and be ready to explore settings and featuresShe will begin with a few tips then segue to your questions/concerns that may be of interest to others who are presentTips: Folders on Home Screen, scanning documents, action button, and maybe (if there’s interest) sharing contacts & calendars
3. iPad System Settings — with Tom Bonanno (In‑Person Only)
A focused walk through of iPad settings
- Accessibility Focus: Vision Features
- About Your iPad model, storage, etc.
- Navigation and Gesture Tips
- Great for anyone wanting to get more comfortable with their iPad
4. macOS 26 (Tahoe) System Settings — with Bruce Mitchell (In‑Person Only)
- A guided tour of 10 select System Setting: Menu Bar and Control Center, Notifications, Accessibility, Desktop and Dock,Battery,Privacy and Security, Passwords, Touch ID, Focus, Spotlight, Appearance
- A PDF handout will be posted in advance so you can follow along on your iPad or MacBook
We’ll be meeting in the Rohan Center Mulberry Room (craft room), which has plenty of space so everyone can spread out comfortably.
We ran a similar small group SIG event at Saddlebrook a few years ago, and it was a big success. Please keep in mind that we can accommodate about 70 in‑person attendees. There’s no scalping of tickets at Rohan. 🙂
